Wow. That was amazing. The writing was brilliant, and I think you really captured the characters well. The dialogue and Angel's introspection all felt very real... Absolutely wonderful.

Interesting, original, unusual, and well-written. I think you've captured the nuances of the Spike/Angel relationship back then. I like it very much.

I've read this before but have no problem reading it again. Excellent, perfectly in-character story with beautiful angst. It's nice to know that no all the stories on are total garbage.

There are several lines in here I especially liked. Spike/William will always want his Sire, won't he? Of course, Angelus/Angel will always be a bastard, see quotation, "Why do you act like it meant nothing to you?" "It didn't."
