Great story - but OUCH. If you're not careful, the characters are going to run off the page and hide the next time you pick up a pen.

This was such a powerful story. I saw on your web page that there will be a sequel and I was just wondering when that story would be posted? No rush... really... I'm just waiting to read it... patiently. Keep up all the hard work!

WOW! I can't believe I read all that nonstop, it took me forever, but it was one of the best I have EVER read, it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time and everything fit together, it was so touching, and I can't believe that Lee didn't go insane after all that. It held so much emotion, I loved reading it. The only thing that disappointed me was that Dotty didn't know how Amanda really 'died' it was unfair that she didn't get to know the truth. I think that Lee should have told her about the agency and everything and then when they recovered her that they would quit the agency so that nothing like that would ever happen again and everyone would live happily ever after, but that is just my opinion, you wrote the story not me and I think you did a spectacular job!

Amanda. Like how you worked in things from the orginal SMK program.

This was incredible. You had me running the gamut of emotions, and what a well written, edge-of-my-seat piece. Keep up the GREAT work.

Terrific story! Loved the way you used imagery throughout - I could see it playing out in my mind's eye while I was reading. Wish they'd have had a few on this level in the actual series. Not that I didn't love the show, but you have to admit, it was kind of 'fluffy' for a spy-drama. Your months of hard work were definitely well spent. I look forward to reading the sequel.

Wow! I was going to take a pause while reading this, but then found I couldn't. Incredible story. Vicious, it's true, but in that it's probably more realistic than the show was. Agents (male or female) get hurt. Just read the stories of Violette Szabo or Odette from SOE during WW2 to have that proved. Lee's reactions are perfect and I could almost feel what he was going through, while wincing with Amanda. As for the end, talk about sweet justice.
