Wow. I have to admit that this story is actually tastefully written. And in some ways, original. It's usually Severus+Lily=Harry, not Severus+James=Harry. Nice twist.

I also read that one flame, and damn near laughed myself to bits. STUPID PRICK! STUPID PRICK! THE FLAMER IS A STUPID GIT! The only thing I could even remotely find interesting about that flame was the rhyme-sceme. You gotta admit, it's got a great rhyme-scheme.

1.How does Severus react?

Oh, denile, and frustration, and he'll probably treat Harry like a prick until Harry does something that proves beyond a doubt that Harry is HIS son.

2.What does Poppy arrange?

No clue, really. Probably screech to Dumbledore about not putting Harry through any more pain, which of course Dumbledore doesn't listen to.

3.What kind of person is the portrait on Severus' rooms?

Um...the most obvious choice would be a serpent or Salazar Slytherine, but I say be original. Put Godric Gryffindor himself as the portrait guardian. *snickers* You know, because Dumbledore likes to torture Severus.

Ah, phooey. We ran out of chapters just as it was starting to get really interesting. {pout} You've got a *very* nice setup here, and I can't wait to see what happens next. With the Twins reference to Ron and Hermione being doing something weird since the first week of summer, I'd take a guess that they're off being trained to be Harry's bodyguards, and that they've maybe been spying on him already? Poppy will do a paternity test. Severus will be in denial (and it ain't just a river in Egypt), and his commentary is probably going to be very sharp and cutting. The portrait... I'll vote for Salazar Slytherin accompanied by snakes or a basilisk. As for my House, if my color preferences are anything to go by, I'm Slytherin all the way. I make, wear, and sell silver jewelry, and I've got a serious love for green gemstones and crystals (though it's not the predominant color I work with in my jewelry at the moment--I'm working heavily with pearls, blue topaz, and amethyst right now). James and Severus?! That's just sick and wrong. But aside from that little bit I think this is a wonderful story and I can't wait to see what Hary and Severus do with this new information. Also, in your next chapter could you describe what Harry looks like now? You described his eyes but you never said if he looked the same other than that or if other things about him had changed also. Oh! By the by, I'm in Ravenclaw.
