Just thought I'd briefly comment on the absurdity of Tsunade constantly reminding Naruto to hide his techniques and then essentially recommending to Iruka that he doesn't end up on Hinata's team, which almost guarantees he ends up in a team with two Sharingan wielders, perhaps the worst possible situation for him in that regard. Not to mention the relatively dubious kindness of separating your surrogate son from his only friend...regardless of the ultimate intentions behind such an action.

Plus, you say Sasuke knows more jutsu than Naruto... yet at this stage in canon Sasuke only knows a few katon jutsu whereas Naruto knows at least a dozen, of multiple elements. Once again that doesn't make much sense.

I'll keep reading, I'm hoping this doesn't turn out to be a virtual copy/paste of canon events. Too often it seems people come up with all these fancy new jutsu's, ideas, etc and then rigidly stick to the canon storyline and inevitably make any changes seem of negligible importance.

So far so good asides from those first two issues though, I'm glad you went through the first years pretty quickly too.

i'm a little disapointed that after all the changes to the original story you still put the same old teams together, blegh. your story is well written though which puts you ahead of about 80 percent of this site.

i really hope the fox doesn't become a character. a plot device sure, but don't have it talk, or take over or anything like that. because then it won't be a naruto story it'll be a fox story, just like the rest.
