Wow... you build up this prospective SonAmy, then at the way last second, you unveil it's a KnuxAmy! Well done! Truth is, SonAmy is low on my list of favorite pairings, so I enjoy the occasional KnuxAmy! And furthermore, they stay in character throughout! Usually in his things, the characters become lovey-dovey twits, but Knuckles only did that in this because of the moment, other than that, no characer deviation! Whoo!

Why do people enjoy coupling up Knuckles with Amy? There is NO basis, whatsoever, for such coupling. Nothing. Zip. Nada. Though I do concur with you that Knuckles could easily shout at Amy. However, he probably wouldn't feel guilty about it.
