2007-07-29 . chapter 1 I totally LOVED your fanfic 'I am Kagura'. Right now I am surpressing tears because I've already cried enough, from(oh, geez, here come the tears...) both of your endings. I have some constructive-critisizim altough I think your story is PERPECT! So yeah my ideas are: Do mor with Kanna! Make it so it's not so weird when Kageru get's into the limo after Rin invites her, and that's all I could think of! I really hope you write more and if you do could you tell me? And I just finished reading an UNFINISHED **growls** InuYasha fanfic called Life's Tough Get A Helmet;it's about the InuYasha characters in modern time and Rin is wealthy but her alcohalic dad beats her. Rin goes to Shikon High School(whats with everything being named after the jewel?). And her and Shesshoumaru are partners in a school asignment and her and InuYasha had a fight in the past! Anyway, I'm doing my own fanfic which has the theme of InuYasha, some of the characters, AND MY OWN! Here's what I have so far PLEASE TELL ME if you like it so I know weather or not to put it up on Kay, this is what I have so far, if you like it I'll send you more pages as I finish them okay here goes:
My characters and a brief description….
Ikeda Akane-(female, 29 yrs) An evil demoness with extremely formidable abilities and power. She has possession of Midori’s heart.
Midori-(female, 29 yrs) A demoness detachment of Akane. She uses the
earth as her weapon and hates having to serve Akane.
Okada Akio-(male, 27 yrs) A strong and formidable warrior hanyo who falls in
love with Kameko.
Maede Kameko-(female, 21 yrs) A great warrior hanyo with strong abilities and a talent for wielding her sword.
Hayasi Mizuki-(female, 19 yrs) A human sorceress with the power of the Moon.
Hayasi Hikaru-(female, 19 yrs) A human sorceress with the power of the sun.
Yamada Izumiko-(female, 16 yrs) A human who, when young, was manipulated by Akane and killed her family and village with her excellent sword skills and was taken in by the Yamada family. She is talented with caring for people, and it seems as though she is always crying.
Yamada Hoshiko-(female, 17 yrs) A human with great sword skills thanks to Izumiko training her.
Maede Akiko-(female, 9 yrs) A human girl taken in by Kameko.
Yoshida Katashi-(female, 22 yrs) A demoness with power over water. She met Kameko and continued to travel with her.

“Midori”, Akane commanded her servant, that was actually a detachment from herself, to come in a demanding yet quiet voice. Midori soon appeared and didn’t bow to her mistress or show any sign of respect. “What do you want of me, Akane?”, was all she said. She knew that at anytime Akane could clench her heart in her fist, enjoying the pain Midori showed. But she was defiant and would only do as little of what Akane wanted of her that was needed for her to stay alive. When Akane had created Midori out of her own blood and essence, she had taken out her heart, for it proved most useful.
“I want you to kill Maede Kameko and her friends”, Akane began. “They have been most bothersome in my trying to put together all of the Sacred Stones. That woman is so foolish. She shouldn’t go around swinging her sword blindly in the Temple of the Sacred Stones. Even if she was killing a demon. So, Midori, will you kill Maede Kameko and all of the people traveling with her, and bring me their pieces of the sacred stones?”
“This should be a simple task for me”, Midori told Akane, trying to make her feel that Midori was more powerful than her. But Akane was used to this and paid it no mind. “Good”, Akane simply said, “and don’t come back without either their heads or their Sacred Stone shards”. Midori gave her a confident nod. “Oh, yes, and Midori; if you are to find any shards of the Shikon stone, I want them.” Seeing the confused look on Midori’s face, she continued, “Naraku is looking only for the shards of that stone. If I can get a good chunk of it, I could get Naraku in my grasp, I simply need a few things of him. That is all”. Midori was still confused but just turned and walked out, disappearing into the darkness of Akane’s castle hallway.
Akane looked into a small mirror where she could what her servant was doing. This should prove to be most amusing, thought Akane, and she sat back to watch.
Midori broke a piece of rock from the ground and sat upon it. “Rise forth and fly”, she commanded the stone, and it did. Flying through the air, Midori wondered what Akane could possibly need from Naraku. And she knew if she was to find pieces of the Shikon Stone, she would surely run into InuYasha and his friends, Shippo, Kagome, Sango, and Miroku.

Kameko and her friends, Mizuki, Hikaru, Izumiko, and Hoshiko, arrived at a nearby village, to see many weeping. “ What is the cause of your tears”, Izumiko asked one of the crying village woman, for she knew pain all to well. “A demon, a demon killed my children, and others, too”, answered the woman. “We may be able to help; do you know when this demon is?” asked Hikaru. “Not even our finest warrior, Okada Akio, could kill it. He is very injured, our priestess is caring for him, and he heals quick, considering that he is a hanyo” the woman said. Kameko was in awe. She herself was a hanyo, and in her village she was an outcast-- nobody cared if she was wounded, no matter how bad it was. She already liked this village and respected it’s beliefs. “I can help him”, Izumiko was saying in her small voice, “you’d be surprised with what I can do”. “I guess it wouldn’t hurt. Come, I will show you the way”, the woman told Izumiko. “I will come too”, said Kameko, determined to meet this hanyo and see as to why he was accepted in this village.
The woman lead them to a small hut, yet larger than the others. “Lady Akira, This woman claims she can help Akio” she said, pointing to Izumiko. “Then let them in. If Akio keeps up at this rate, he may die.” Kameko couldn’t believe the genuine concern the Priestess showed for the hanyo. Nobody ever cared about Kameko until she met this young group of girls. Izumiko and Kameko went inside, and the woman went to her own small hut, still crying. “Where is Akio” asked Kameko. “In the back”, Lady Akira said, leading them behind a thin curtain, to where Akio lay bedridden. “I have come to heal your wounds” Izumiko softly told Akio. “Who, who are you?” he
questioned. “I am Yamada Izumiko, and I am very talented with caring for people.” “Who is, who is she” Akio weakly asked, pointing to Kameko. “I am Maede Kameko.” She is so beautiful, Akio thought. “Here, drink” Izumiko was saying. Akio took the bottle Izumiko was holding out to him and drunk it, and it tasted good, which surprised him for a medicinal drink. “I will get some herbs and be back. Kameko, why don’t you stay her and watch Akio, for I do not know where the herbs grow here and it would be helpful for Lady Akira to come with me”, Izumiko said, and the priestess agreed. “Okay”, said Kameko, and she sat down next to Akio. “Here, you should drink more” Kameko told Akio, holding out Izumiko’s bottle of medical liquid. “Thank you for your generosity, kind stranger”, Akio said, trying to get Kameko, whose name he knew, to say more to him than ‘you’re welcome’. “Please, my name is Kameko. Umm, I have a question, and it may not be one you’d like to answer…”, Kameko ventured shyly. “I do not mind, you and your friend have very well saved my life. I haven’t had energy enough to even talk like this in a while” Akio said, wondering what the young hanyo could want to know about him. “Okay, in my village I was always an outcast because of my being a half breed. Do you know why they accepted you in this village?” “I too was an outcast in the village I come from”, Akio started. “Nobody but my parents cared about me. They killed my family. They told me I was next. So I took the sword my father had taught me to use and ran. I stopped when I saw this village being attacked by a demon. I killed it with my claws and with my sword. The village had a small feast to honor me. I have lived here happily and occasionally protecting my new neighbors from demons ever sense. Until this demon came, and did this to me. I have been bedridden for six days now, but I already feel better, thanks to your friend”. “Well, that’s good that your getting better”, Kameko said. Silence. Just then Izumiko and Lady Akira came in. “Where are your wounds”, Izumiko asked, still in her small voice. “It’s on my chest”, Akio answered, and slowly took off his shirt. Izumiko examined them and took out a couple of herbs, mixed them in a bowl of water, drained it, and applied it to the wound. “Do you have any bandages”, Izumiko softly asked the priestess. “Yes, here”, Lady Akira said, giving her a roll. She wrapped it around the mixture she had put on the wound. “Rest, and take off the bandages in the morning. After that you should feel better” Izumiko instructed. Akio nodded off to sleep. “Thank you. How did you learn these things, Izumiko” , Lady Akira asked. “I-I’m not sure” Izumiko replied, her eyes beginning to fill with tears. And with that they left the priestess’s hut. They ate a small dinner there and slept in an old hut that was no longer occupied.
