I like you have made up stories for years in my head, and I've actually written one complete one down, but have yet to post. Anyway, back to the review. Great chapter, I love this story, and yes in some small towns the sherrif is elected. I believe that is the case in my hometown. Can't wait for the next chapter! This one was so great with Doug helping the elderly lady. It seemed like a totally Doug thing to do.

WHY HAVENT YOU WRITTEN ANYTHING BEFORE? This fic is FAB-ulous!! honestly, it would be an excellent addition to the archive.
