You have Edward true to the life here. Every aspect of this drabble perfectly captures the character of this simple, virtuous man and his feelings for the woman he loves. Great work.

There IS at least one Edward Scissohands fanfic that isn't about some person moving into Suburbia and deciding, "hey lets go check out that creepy old hazardous looking mansion and see what we stumble upon", or "Kim's Grandaughter decides to check out the mansion up there to see if the stories are true". I feel there is so much potential for E.S. stories, but everyone is stuck in the same old same old ruts. So THANK YOU so much for creating a wonderful one shot, in which you totally caught edwards dark sort of innocence! You are my hero!

i liked it, you still managed to keep the innocence that is edward and still give off his true feelings about how he feels, even if he doesn't understand it. very nicely done.

I like this a lot. :) It's short and to the point, and not *completely* angsty where it seems unrealistic...it is as it is, a simple inner-monologue, and a well written one. I love how he doesn't know the word to describe how he feels. Good characterisation.
