That was a very powerful episode. It would have been nice to have a follow-up scene like this. Jon and Trip watching out for each other - the way it should be.

I was hoping to see some stories dealing with "The Observer Effect". I really liked these last few lines.

/“I was dying,” Trip says quietly. “And you were standing right there next to me.”

Archer smiles like he doesn’t know what to say.

Yes, it was a step. I hope the two make many more to restore the close bond of friendship they once shared. It was a touching scene. I only wished the episode gave us a few more moments dealing with Archer's reaction and grief before the alien took over Tucker's form. Nice work! :)
