Woohoo an update! It took a while but the wait was well worth it. Loved what you did with the flashback and that thing with Link's head full of songs. Its like Link trying to get a fairytale ending and Zelda bursting his bubble and bringing him back to reality. You're one of the few who shows the struggle that Link and Zelda share because of their different status. Can't wait to see how the story ends.

Another cliff-hanger! Worth it though, to see the update! So glad to see you're still writing this fic!

Good call with the flashback: not only in how you wrote the scene, but also in the problems presented during Link & Zelda's youth. Much as I love the L/Z pairing, there is more than a class difference between the two: there's a conflict of interests, between settling down in one area to lead and wandering the known & unknown world. Although this is an obstacle that could be overcome or fade with time, it's good to note that it would be an obstacle nevertheless.

Twisted story you got going here. Twisted, but interesting to boot and unique. Not many stories have Zelda as some overweight, pox ridden queen living off carion in a seized castle. And Link. Even if Zelda is stuck with some bastard husband, he's usually pretty well off. I find it rather fascinating, actually. I noticed this fic is marked as "tragedy," though. Does that mean that despite the Lady's efforts to build an army agaist Lord Emery, are Link and Zelda still going to snuff it? Update soon so the rest of your loyal readers and I can find out!
