this story was miraculous. I love how kitten and blackfire's revenge is combined with Kitten's crush on robin. the dialogue was great, and the plot wasn't far-fetched like some other Robin and Starfire fluff fanfics incorporate. I really like the robin and starfire couple though, so i may be a tad biased- but i really can picture every second of this as if it were in the show or really happening!

An unlikely partnership, but Kitten and Blackfire seem to be a very well matched team, with Blackfire being the one who attracts the main attention as well as her knowledge of her fellow Tamaranians, while Kitten has the resources and stays in the backround until her aid would the most effective, therefore causing the most damage with a minimum amount of effort.

Meanwhile, you can already see at the very beginning that the differences in goals between the two young women (ie: Kitten’s desire to own Robin for herself versus Blackfire’s need to finish both the lovebirds) is going to jeopardize the partnership and understanding between them.

I find it amusing that Blackfire tried to calm her sister when Starfire seemed horrified that her older sister destroyed an entire planet on her own. To me it seems as though while Blackfire may hate her sister, she also holds a deep affection for her as well, seemingly abit of a forbidden one. However, that only adds spice to the story.

The forced date between Robin and Kitten is both funny and heartbreaking. Kitten is smarter than she appears to be, though her obsession with Robin will prove to be her undoing. She is so focused on Robin and her attachment to him; it leaves Blackfire left on her own and vulnerable to her own personal demons if not to attack from the other Titans.

Robin is a very talented actor. He puts his own feelings and breaking heart aside in order to project the image that Kitten wants/needs from him. Even though you know that he only wants to break Kitten’s teeth, you still get the feeling that this is a real date between the enemies even though Robin tries desperately to defuse this as best he can.

They say that “The eyes are the windows to the soul” and the fight scene between Robin and Starfire proves that you understand each other better than they know. The words may have sounded real, but their eyes told the other what the real truth was.

My only complaint about this story would be that I would still like to know how Robin managed to inform the other Teen Titians what was going on and how to find them. It might seem like a small thing, but I think that it still leaves a hole in this otherwise wonderful story.

Overall, I think that there were some tantalizing hints of BlackFire/Starfire, and I could also see the possibility of a Blackfire/Kitten pairing as well (although possibly one-sided). Your use of description and emotional detail was very polished and developed. You are very talented and I hope that you’ve enjoyed this long review!

It is a wonderful story, well written and with plenty of the characters thoughts and emotions. Excellent Job. Even though I do not watch teen titans, I can more or less grasp the storyline. Keep it Up!
