Jane Poirot 2009-05-20 . chapter 32This is a really delightful story! I like how you 'flanderize' some of the BSC's most endearing qualities, and then do a 180 and give some of the characters actual development, like Greer gave off a snobby impression when she was first introduced before she actually became human (that, and Dawn's insane ramblings convinced me of it, too). The part where I laughed the hardest was when Mary Anne ordered penile enhancement for Logan and her dad thought Sharon got it for him, lol!
Congrats on such a fun story! |
 livesonwisteria 2008-11-21 . chapter 32Great story |
 OnlyZuul 2008-11-11 . chapter 5This is so hilarious - I love it! |
OMKami 2008-11-10 . chapter 32Wow. Just wow. This story was absolutely hilarious (I LOVED all the little throwaway comments.) By the end I actually felt like *I* was having to go home after two weeks in Amsterdam and actually felt kind of sad. Very, very well-written. |
OMKami 2008-11-02 . chapter 1Oh my God, even the disclaimer is hilarious! XD |
 Erin Cade 2008-09-08 . chapter 32That was simply amazing. :) |
laura-csm 2008-06-04 . chapter 32I have never read a BSC fanfic that has power like yours. You capture the BSCers wonderfully. The plots were priceless. Kristy finding Shannon's grandma? LOL! Mallory reading Kama Sutra (sp?) is so excellent! You're the best.
PS. Jessi's black? When did that happen? |
beatlewifetobe 2007-09-16 . chapter 32I've been a member of the bsc livejournal community for about a year, and I kept reading references to your story. I have to admit, I always thought fanfiction would be kind of lame and stale (and a lot of it is). But I am totally impressed by you. This is a top-notch parody and really hilarious! Your character development -- and the way each one spiraled ridiculously into deeper and deeper stereotypes -- was so awesome. I want to print it off, bind it, and add it to my BSC collection! There are REAL Super Specials that aren't as good or funny or engaging as this one. Bravo you! |
Lydia Riddle 2007-09-01 . chapter 32This was really good, really funny - I enjoyed it immensely. |
sweet775 2007-08-21 . chapter 15Jane Greer, Jean Harlow and Joan Fontaine- is that a coincidence or did you mean to put that in? |
 lovehatebananas4 2007-07-23 . chapter 32good ending! i really (rilly?) enjoyed it! :) |
 lovehatebananas4 2007-07-23 . chapter 22dun dun dun... |
lovehatebananas4 2007-07-23 . chapter 16wow. mary anne's chapter was hilarious! her dad thought sharon had bought it for him? PRICELESS! :) |
Sweeter Than Cheesecake 2007-02-16 . chapter 3This is a really funky story! The humor is really weird and alternative and what I found the funniest was the 'Guten tag' thing. I'm half German so I know a few basic phrases, and 'Good afternoon' is most certainly not a name. Keep it up!

Andrea P. Quintell 2006-11-07 . chapter 32So I'm a little late in reading this, I suppose, but I have to say that it was one of the best stories I've read on this site! I was cracking up practically the whole time. Wow, Jessi's black? OMG! Mallory and her "cool" outfit of the Mallory jumper... Stacey the **... Mary Anne the repressed nymphomaniac, oh god, I loved it all! Hahahahaha. I love your writing, but this was just classic! As much as I enjoy your more serious work (I'm addicted to My Mother's Daughter after devouring BFF and MLTS), this was just... ah I loved it.
Now for the real "review". You have an excellent grasp on the personalities of each character, and it was really nice to read chapters in a fanfic super special that didn't all sound like they were being written by the same person. I also love your slightly ironic tone, especially when you talk about things like when Dawn complains about how tough her life is, or how dumb Claudia can be, etc. It's so subtle, but so hilarious, and made me giggle every time. And this goes for all of your stories, but thank you for being able to keep a plot going and not resorting to writing "omg BSC fanfic reunion!!1oneone" all the time. You are definitely a very talented writer, and I'd love to see more stories like this if you ever feel inspired! =)
