The idead that that might have been one of the few times that Robin has been in a chemical's wrath... scary, both for him and us. But the idea that he misses Slade... it's actually understandable. And not in a slashy was either. It actually reminded me of Lex Luthor and how he was angry at Superman's death because they could no longer battle each other... Hehe, Superman: Doomsday, can't wait. Every person made was given many purposes--but they have one define purpose that gives the soul reason for their being. Whether it may be that they will one day be the parent of the next president, or they save someone by being late for something by half a second. The smallest things sometimes grow to be the bigest--then we die when I fate is complete. I can't blame Robin for being frightened and that's why I'm glad someone finally wrote about it. Jurodan 2005-03-24 ch 1,	abuseI would say that's one of the better descriptions of Robin's feelings for Slade. After fighting so hard for so long and then... not even getting to fight Slade or kill Slade, it'd be like a gapping wound. If anyone has had an 'arch-nemesis' and that person suddenly disappears from the picture without being able to be bested... it's a freaky experience to say the least. Hatred just doesn't disappear... Good job.

Once again, excellent job! you display an in-depth understanding of robin's feelings in this situation, and it is portrayed very nicely! awesome! :)

At the beggining you said Robin had never been under the effects of harmful substances, but what about Scarecrow's fear toxin? Just a thought... Anyway, I think you managed to get right into Robin's mind, especially in the last bit: 'I'll lock it away with the other things I have locked away throughout my life, and I will pretend it's not there.' That's good.

If you read my profile youll see the whole episode notes on Birthmark. He's coming back but he's not looking for Robin he's looking for Raven! I love Raven too...and its her birthday. This is going to be a great episode. (Slade comes back and with the power to create fire! results from falling into lava i guess, man that guy cant die!) Ok this review is getting a bit long.
