otogii 2009-09-06 . chapter 1you should do a 2nd chapter on what one of L's crownies reported to L or L was there and listened in on the convo that would be cool
you should try another though i really lked it! |
Kaiko Aozora 2009-08-11 . chapter 1On the other hand, according to some color panels, Waya's hair is bright red... Not orange-red, parrot-red. Hehe, carrot or parrot. xD ZOMG WAYA'S A PARROT! :D
FAIL, Shindo-kun... Ramen takes precedence over everything. xD (Feh. I'm still using -kun, even though he's older than me in the manga... -san just doesn't work. Or -sensei.)
So, Sai can see shinigami. He is sort of shinigami-ish, in't he... Sort of. Vaguely. Kind of. Not really. So maybe he can't. But if he could... innterestinngg... you continue with this. |
Embers of Inspiration 2009-05-26 . chapter 1This was nothing short of superb. I think it would be fascinating if you did a short follow-up of Hikaru's thoughts after Kira was finally found out by the police, because that information had to be released sometime, right?
Anyway, great job!
Hoping inspiration finds you well,

 wintersalad 2009-05-01 . chapter 1first thing's first.
light had better not go kill hikaru. i haven't forgiven him for L yet, so if he kills hikaru, i'm going to hunt him down, imaginary character or not. RAWR.
but yes. i love this! i've always thought wars and all that was similar to games, like chess. and i've wondered when i was younger, why, instead of killing so many people and causing so much devastation to both or more parties, won't the leaders or representatives of each just have a go at some sort of tournament? life is precious.
and hikaru reasoning out the kira case in relations to igo is just plain godly. love him. love sai.
thank you for the wonderful writing! |
irezel 2009-01-17 . chapter 1:) that was really well done. :D i want more, but i have no suggestions as to how you could do more soo...yeah.
just keep it how it is and let it be fabulous!! :) hikaru's so smart, i always thought he was somewhat thick when it came to TV and stuff...:P |
Scarabsi 2008-09-28 . chapter 1Hikago and Death Note are two series that are very difficult to write for, due to how friggin' insanely intelligent the main characters are. However, you managed to pull off BOTH at the SAME TIME. If that's not amazing, then wow, what WOULD the word "amazing" mean?!
Every action has been planned through and characterized in the most realistic way, as well as speech and thought process. The whole theory itself in the middle - with the similarities between Light vs. L and a game of Go - is a good use of extended parallel, and has convinced me, despite the very contradictory natures of the two stories with each other (Hikago about a ghost haunting, Death Note saying there's nothing after death), that the two stories are truly meant to be in the same universe. |
Cross - The Damned Alchemist 2008-09-26 . chapter 1*sighs* It was very good... ^^~ I liked very much! I thnk it was a great idea! ^^~ A brilliant one! >W< I think it went well... It's kinda hard to explain what I'm thinking... But that's what I can say right now... ^^~ |
sandcat 2008-09-15 . chapter 1Hi! I really liked it! Pity it's a one-shot... I was wondering for a moment if Sai and Ryuu could see each other. It would be really interesting if you continued it! Well, I know you probably won't, but still... Hikaru and Sai could devise a way to stop Kira by helping L. I was so sad when L died...
That said, I really like your writing!
Love,
Sandcat |
 A Bibliophile 2008-07-20 . chapter 1This was awesome. |
sky75rk 2008-06-08 . chapter 1i wonder.. what would you do if this was a multi-chaptered story. i'm really curious.
but you did so very well in this. everything is in its place. every character, every personality, every conversation...
i wonder if hikaru really saw ryuk... |
 numberman123 2008-03-29 . chapter 1Um... Can I just love you right now?
This story is brilliant! I've never seen a Hikaru No Go/Death Note crossover so this has been an interesting experience. The parallels between the two series are unique and I love the connection between Hikaru and Raito plus Raito's own 'game' to Hikaru's Go. I love how in character they are. Raito is such and arrogant person and he dismisses those who aren't relevant to his plans and Ryuuk was brilliant as well, with his curiosity about Hikaru and Sai and his goading at Raito. Hikaru is always so idealistic, and I love that most about him in this fic(I wish we could solve the world's problems through Go too, it would be an interesting meeting of the minds so to speak). Sorry if I seem too repetative with the whole "I love..." but this is a great fic!
Great job! On this and your other crossover as well, the Naruto/Hikaru no Go one. |
Seraph of Tales 2008-02-09 . chapter 1I am quite surprisingly pleased by this story. Just how you were able to capture the similarities, the character's personalities, and how everything seemed as if it could easily fit into the plot. Ilove it. I love it very much! |
The Violent Tomboy 2007-12-29 . chapter 1Wow...that was real deep...kind of cool how Hikaru used go to connect everything together... |
samiseriouslyam 2007-11-09 . chapter 1I really liked this! However, I agree with Light-I don't think Hikaru is quite up with him, L, or, if you want to go farther, Mello and Near. (Can't judge Matt-he's only got like 12 panels in the whole series.) Actually, I think it's kind of unrealistic for him to be so good at Go after such a small amount of time (granted, I'm only upto about volume 8, so I may be missing things). And that's in the honest to goodness series!
I really like the Sai/Rem or Ryuk comparison. ;D I guess Sai really is something like a god of death, when you come right down to it...
Oh, and the part where Hikaru was talking about wanting to play against a god of Go? I was seriously thinking that Light would be whipping out a travel Go board and demonstrate a sudden, unexpected talent for playing. ;D
I usually don't read crossovers, but this one was really good, in my opinion! |
 Pure Shikon 2007-08-04 . chapter 1Great idea! I love it! |
