This is a great look into Batman, and the writing is beautiful. Purple prose? Nah. If that guy wants purple he should read Beatrice Small.

Very interesting. A little strange, but some good insight where we see his flashes of arrogance even when he shows some self doubt.

Diana? Yeah sure guy. Well apart from your rather bizarre take on Bat's romantic inclinations, I find your prose a little purple, very melodramatic and full of itself. That's okay if it's a deliberate choice because you want to portray Bats as melodramatic and full of himself, but not so good if it just comes out that way unbidden.
