Oh, I loved this so much!
It's so beautifully written, and tells the story so vividly. I almost felt like I was inside Lorelai's mind as I was reading it.
I loved the last paragraph.
I also read this part over and over again: "Her breath hitches when she thinks of his hands tracing her curves, his fingers sliding along her limbs, tangling in her hair, his lips burning her skin, bruising her own as he kissed her. She aches from holding him so tightly, from kissing him so deeply. She wonders if tomorrow she’ll be emblazoned with his handprints on her abdomen, on the small of her back and her hip and her thigh. She can still feel his weight on her." ...just beautiful.
and I loved the This-Luke and That-Luke thing. It's such a subtle thing that I hadn't noticed before until you pointed it out in this story, and you used that so well.

Wow, this is a really great story. The way you wrote her thoughts, the moments of the two of them together, really amazing! I enjoyed reading every word of it. It is lunch time and I warmed up some leftover from last night, to much to eat it all. But I was so focussed on the reading I didn't even noticed that in the end I accidently ate everything anyway :D Am I going to regret that later ;)

I have to say that I've never really been fond of these types of fics. Musings, not many actions unless they're recalled, and I don't like them mostly 'cause I prefer to show things (or see them) rather than explaining. But I think you did an okay job with it, even if it's not amazing (but one of your other stories were amazing, so there you go.) 'the line now exists on an entirely other plane of existence' That was a weird line, with 'exist' in it twice and it just stuck out like a sore thumb for me, so I thought I'd tell you (lol.) Did you mean to keep saying 'she watches him sleep'? I don't know, maybe it comes with the whole *musing* type fic, but it bugged me a little. Anyway, really long review...

Absolutely fabulously wonderful. I love how you create a romantic depth with the characters that is lacking everywhere else. I love giddy, thinking Lorelai. Now I want you to write the same from Luke's point of view! Pretty please! Just loved this piece. Thank you so much.
