 Phoenix Satori 2009-01-06 . chapter 1Stunning.
I don't know what else to say. Perfect? Superlative? Glorious?
Honestly, such an open, simple and profound portrait of a show that ended much too soon.
Absolutely and undeniably lovely. Thank you so much. |
Lirazel 2006-07-19 . chapter 1This is one of my favorite Firefly fics that I've ever read. Perfect little glimpses of every character, and I love the way you revealed their souls through their relationship to the ship--the tenth character. It shows a perfect understanding of the heart of the series. Absolutely wonderful. |
AmazinglyMe 2006-03-16 . chapter 1Such a great study of everyone on the ship, and of the show itself really. I liked it quite a bit. :) |
 Donna Lynn 2006-01-02 . chapter 1Interesing. |
Lattelady 2005-10-09 . chapter 1Extremely well written and very true. |
BlueFireDragon17 2005-07-16 . chapter 1I'm so glad you did stray from your usual writing to do this story...it's beautiful in its' simplicity and defines each of the characters perfectly. |
lily 2005-02-01 . chapter 1 I alway thought that Serenity was more River's than Mal or Kaylee's. Just something about how River communicated with the ship as if River had found a part of herself that had been lost. |
 z 2005-01-31 . chapter 1 that was cool. |
KaySky 2005-01-28 . chapter 1I really loved this story. Very original. |
 selori 2005-01-28 . chapter 1YES!
Wow, have you got Kaylee down! I loved this bit:
"But everything is backwards, because it's the mother in the womb, surrounded by the darling child."
And you really have the rhythm of Kaylee's dialog in this bit:
"Serenity is Kaylee's girl, her good girl, who’ll do anything she asks."
I love the imagery in this, and can totally see Kaylee working in the engine room:
"Even when there’s no money for parts, and the ones they have are groaning under the strain, Kaylee’s there with oil and nimble fingers, soothing and coaxing like a momma with a teething baby."
Just lovely! |
Triane 2005-01-27 . chapter 1Well, why DON'T you do plotless character studies like this? Very well done. Interesting look into each of the characters, and your style is very easy to read. |
