Hey, I decided that since I've got a new name I would review again. I hope that this will just be one among many reveiws that you get for your writing. A great author should be encouraged so here I go.
Never stop writing. This world needs your creativity! Yes this had a little angst, but it was incredible to read. (again & again & again) I know life can be hectic, but always carve out time for this. For I know that if you don't, there will definitally be a great story that was never read, an idea that was never shared, and people going about their lives never knowing what they've missed.

I really enjoyed this work! You did an admirable job of portraying Kenshin's inner turmoil and Tomoe's role in his decision to live and atone for the deaths he caused. I'd love to see more "Wanderin Years" fics from you! That period of time is sadly underrepresented in the RuroKen world...

gi is basically the kenshi shirt. [nods] not that it's really a shirt, since it's kinda like a skirt too, since it has to at least reach your knees. if it doesn't the side thingies on the hakama--the pant thingies for the kenshis--will like show your butt. i guess you really didn't need to know that, but you know...trivial info. [shrugs] anyways, i loved the story. i love depressing stuff like this. it was written very well. good job! =]

Hey dakoyone,
I liked it. I don't know if you've gotten any reviews for this yet, but I hope that you do. I've found that not all fics are really worth the time to review and try to let them know what you liked/disliked, but your's was. There really wasn't anything that stood out to me that I didn't like. The years between the Trust & Betrayal OVA and when he shows up in Tokyo 11 years into the Meiji Era are sadly missing from Watsuki's work, so I love reading fics that fill in this gap. Your's was good and definitally worth reading.
Your writing style also has a good flow to it and you are pretty well informed as to the actual story of Kenshin. I find both to be great qualities in writers that I enjoy reading. You are going to be one that I will have to keep an eye out for new updates and stories.
With your mention of needing a beta reader, I would be willing to lend a hand. Spelling and grammer are two things that I can easily handle, punctuation I'm not that bad at fixing. If you still need someone, just give me a shout out through email. I am already a beta for two authors and my mom is an English major. I also have my own beta, so if there's something that I don't know, I have people that would lend a hand. (Actually I'm not sure that my mom would. She's anti-anime, kinda like you said your dad was. oops) But if you want I would be willing to help.

Intersting story. Poor Kenshin. ^_^ I like it! I enjoyed your first person narrative. So few writers do it well enough to keep my attention. Good job!
