Sol and I-no were never in a relationship. The line "you never wrote, *hole" is misleading. She came from the an alternate future wherein Ky Kiske died at the Battle of Rome, essentially dooming Mankind in the Holy War. She's been in That Man's service ever since she came back. So...no real room for a relationship...

Also, Sol's more of a silent type. He doesn't quip quite so much either. He usually throws out the occasional insult and that's all.
