Skeleton Horse 12/7/05 . chapter 36GASP! NU Papi! Aside from that, WHE jailbreak! _ |
Ally612 12/6/05 . chapter 36Oh that was so touching! Poor Nadir! I'm guessing he had a flame for Papillon, then? Poor, poor, Nadir. First Rookheya and now Papi. But she's in a better place... |
Piper Sargasso 12/5/05 . chapter 36Absolute brilliance! Stunning work of art. I can't wait for the next update. |
UndermyAngelofMusic'swing 12/3/05 . chapter 36 wow.. *wow* WOW! That was a really awesome chapter, I'm glad you took the whole month to write it, because you did such a fantastic job with it, and got the whole thing absolutely perfect. However, I must say i'd like your updates to be sooner, but if it comes at the expense of the quality, then I don't mind waiting. I think it was really tragic how Papi sacrificed herself for Erik. Not to mention poor Nadir... he's finally found someone, just like Erik has, but his little piece of happiness has been snatched away... and what about M. Nittot? To have lost his grandson AND his daughter? It's so, so sad. I love how you included Erik's suspicion of Christine's pregnancy; I'd almost forgotten that he didn't know, and i can't believe Erik was in that prison for 3 whole months. I can't wait for the reunion, but does this mean that was are soon to see the end of this story? That will certainly be a sad event: I'm going to miss it so much. But of course, you're not allowed to end it until the baby is born! *hint hint* Thankyou so much, and keep up the BRILLIANT work! Your faithful reviewer. |
VraiDaae 12/2/05 . chapter 36 Now that is what I am talking about! Sweet little, "Oh, not that way this way" poke my nose into eveyone elses business former Boss of Persian Police Finally comes out of his shell and shows us what he is made of! Yah! Totally worth the wait. But I think I shall wilt alawy to nothingness in "my" prison of looking forward to your next update. Oh, the look on Erik's face when she walked in...snicker! But the actual play by play of the escape was so well exiquited (no pun.) From Erik's comments about the Lasso...To Daroga showing he really is as dangerious (If not more so) than the masked wonder. I could see it so clearly played out in my head. You do know how to paint such a beautifully clear picture! Thanks again for the beautiful story! I think I am gunna go read that again! :) |
penguinlover 12/2/05 . chapter 36 I have been following your story for a long time, but this is my first review. I just had to say that I absolutely LOVE this story. The amount of research you do astounds me; your characters seem like real people; your plot is amazingly complex and exciting; your writing shows true command of the English language. I eagerly await every new chapter of this story. I think it is the best fanfiction I have ever read, and not just POTO fanfiction, but any kind. Keep up the amazing work! |
Mlle. Opera Ghost 12/2/05 . chapter 36Why did you have to kill her! WHY!... why... I am actually crying. I feel so sorry for Nadir, he found somone, and then he lost her. You writing is beautiful and I cannot wait until you post another chapter. I remain obediently yours... Mlle. O. G, |
vivian 49 12/1/05 . chapter 36 Finally, after waiting a whole month, a new chapter! But well worth the wait! It was so full of suspense and action, it really kept me on edge. Was it really necessary for Papi to die? I was hoping that she would fall in love with Nadir and that they could start a new life together. Also, I thought that she might be the one to take revenge on Mas for murdering her son. Of course I am happy that Erik escaped and that Christine was able to leave the prison, but feel so sad for Nadir to be alone and also for Nitot to have lost his daughter now as well. Please don't let us wait another month for an update! I liked the idea of Erik suspecting Christine's pregnancy, can hardly wait to see his reaction when it is confirmed and his baby at that! Keep up the good work and when you are finished with this story, you should really look for a publisher, it would be worth being printed. |
kkk781 12/1/05 . chapter 36Oh, Papi! I was ready to cry, I quite like her. Poor Christine, thinking Erik had gone mad though. And Erik realising Christine was pregnant. I'm looking forward to the next one, hopefully it will be a bit sooner? :D |
jtbwriter 12/1/05 . chapter 36That is so sad-Erik's freedom bought with Papi's death! Now to get out of the country with Christine-what a dilemma and how will she react to her friend's death! Great story-I've missed this so! Thanks! Now what?:) |
PhantomsHeart 12/1/05 . chapter 36JAILBREAK! Yes! Sneaky Erik, pretending Christine wasn't his wife. Good thing she understands his mind. After a while at least. But Papi! Oh Papi! She died for Christine and Erik... it's almost heroic. |
NorthAngel27 12/1/05 . chapter 36This was so worth the wait. I am crying now - crying for Papi, for Nadir, and for poor Norri when he discovers that his little girl is dead. You make us all really care about these characters, and I feel a great sense of loss now, being bereft of one of the original characters in this plot Please keep up the amazing and inspiring work. You absolutely must publish this. Even if it means having to get permission from Susan Kay to use the character of Nadir. I'm sure she would give it once she read your story. I have always seen really good Phantom fiction to be like a legend of sorts. Each piece growing and building on the one before, until it all sort of blurs together. Your story is definitely one that will add to this legend. Leroux and Webber gave us the incident with Erik and Christine at the opera. Kay gave us a brilliant version of Erik's formative years, and now you have given us the story of what happens afterward. You are a brilliantly talented writer, and I pray that you will never stop using your gift! |
Team Hyde and Phantom 12/1/05 . chapter 36Wow. THAT'S what I call a beautiful chapter. |
Tigerlillys 12/1/05 . chapter 36My dear Gondie thanks to your beautiful writting I can't stop sobbing! ooh poor Papi, poor Nadir, poor Christine...poor me! Oh that was really beautiful! Well done Gondie, keep working! Oh and any help for Greece and Greek things ask me! I live in Greece, I was born in Greece! By the way, the name of the boat was brilliant! |
Mongie 12/1/05 . chapter 36Oh my, this chapter really put me through the wringer. The first part had me on the edge of my seat as I waited for Erik's reaction to seeing Christine. I can only imagine the tension of that moment. Then when he started pushing her away, I was yelling at her in my head not to think he was serious. I was so afraid she'd do something stupid! But then she understood his meaning, I think. I really liked seeing inside of Erik's head then. Poor unhappy Erik, to know Christine was so close. He really seemed to be going mad. And he did notice she was pregnant! I can't wait to see his reaction when his thoughts are confirmed. The escape was very thrilling. I couldn't believe neither had thought of Papi's reaction to his face! That moment was quite harrowing, and yet very sad. Papi really proved herself to be brave. And once Erik got his hands on his Punjab lasso, they were good. Still, it was very exciting. But I can't believe it! Not Papi! I never in a million years saw that one coming. I feel absolutely horrible for Nadir. And she never got to see her father again! It was so sad! I can't wait to read the next chapter! This one left me hanging off the edge of my seat! |
