Great story!

This was an excellent story with very detailed description and a little bit of everything that made Eva special: the action, the characterization, the general weirdness...it was a great read. Thanks for writing it, and great job!

So, here we are with another universe's story ended. if there is to be an end, let it be such and end, that it will be spoken of in legend forever. I find this a quite satisfactory ending, I can see the logic behind it, and personally the idea of Liliths mask crushing Gendo is just such sweet poetic justice I wish I had thought of it.

to anyone looking at this review asking themselves the "Read or not?" question. Just do it, it will be good for you.

This is one of the best Evangelion fanfics I've read since 2005, when I started watching Evangelion and was obsessed with the Shinji/Rei pairing.

I found it! The holy grail of Eva fanfics. I had read this years ago, and loved it! Now, I have returned to it, and this time, I have saved it. So I can read it over again in all it's glory.

This is how the series -should- have ended.

I have been reading Evangelion fanfiction for years but this story is one of the best I have ever read, in fact I think it was the first piece of evangelion fanfiction I ever read way back in 2003, and ever since then this fic, along with a few others, has been the benchmark I use when judgeing other Shinji/Rei fics. I actually have a copy of this fic printed out so I can read it when I don't have access to the internet.

A masterpiece, I can only hope that you don't dissapear like ao many the other greats of Eva fanfiction.

This was one of the first fanfictions I ever read and it was great.I am a S/R fan and applaud you for this piece of work. As far as I can tell, a good plot and a clear picture of the story.Overall, nicely done.

This is probable my favourite fanfic on this site but I was just wondering why you haven't listed it as being complete dispite the fact that it is complete. Some people won't start reading stories they don't think are done and you give the impression that this one isn't. Still this is a really good story and I liked it a lot.

First of all, let me say how incredibly impressed with this story. Not too many Shinji/Rei stories are written because of two problems: the so-called "incest factor" as well as the popularity of Shinji/Asuka here in the U.S. I always supported Shinji/Rei as a couple in Evangelion, despite the rantings and ravings of some ignorant souls. There was never concrete evidence that they were truly related except the whole "Yui's DNA" statement. I didn't care about that and STILL don't. Ryan Xavier, I am SO proud of you for not only writing this but keeping your website afloat after all these years.

Besides, anyone who DARES to flame your work just because it's for a couple they don't like doesn't even deserve to look at it. If it isn't what they wan't, they shouldn't read it to begin with. Just ignore the flamers (or use their flames for an indoor barbeque) and keep on writing. You have earned my friendship as well as my admiration. C'ya!

P.S. You should also be proud since this was the very first Shinji/Rei ever written and has spawned a number of spinoffs and tributes through other fanfic genres.
