Going quite well so far! But I noticed a homonym issue in this chapter: "make sure that their deaths’ weren’t in vein." You meant "vain." :) Easy mistake when you're typing fast and one that's not so easily caught.

You know, this may be old, but this first chapter as definitely managed to snag me in. I love a lot of the details, like:

"He said he knew an organization that wouldn't care if I was gay, that would welcome me with open arms." - very realistic (uh, as far as brain stealing slugs infiltrating Earth secretly can be)

and:

"...I knew the joy he'd felt the first time he hit the ball in my body." - goes along nicely with other things established in the books, like sight, etc

as well as a few other nice touches.

And I think it was pretty clever using the French dialogue punctuation for thought-speak. They can't strip that out so easily.

Anyway, I'm certainly hooked and looking forward to reading more!

Yea the story isent dead! I've never placed this one as one of my favorite's but it is indeed high in quality and I'm begining to question why it isent higher on my list of awesome fanfics.
