I know I use the word 'vivid' alot, but it's one of the first things that always comes to mind when I read your work. Can't be helped, I'm afraid. :)

Ella -- oh, Ella. She immediately leapt off the screen. I'm looking forward to even more of her. She immediately struck me as the sort of woman that would have been welcome in the Bebop universe. She seems like the kind of girl Faye would have befriended before her accident. I'm trying to put my finger on why, but I'm sure I'll figure that out as I get to see more and more of her.

The journey to Earth took my breath away. When my hands thaw from the cold I'll have to review again. If you struggled with it at all, there's absolutely no way of knowing. I think it might just be my favourite passage in Heroes so far. I loved it.

I love this story. Every time you post an update I re-read everything up to that point, wondering if something has been revealed to further connect the dots. It's so thoughtfully well-written I just want to hug it :o). Very beautiful. My only qualm lies with the slow pace in updates, but it's a small price to pay for quality. I look forward to the next chapter.

Amazing!

Vincent was such an interesting character in the film and I was sorry to see him go. I love your insight into what sort of a person he was or could have been. You've resurrected him for me so I'm a happy cat. And with such vivid, tangible imagery!

The scenes were short, but as usual I love the way play out the chemistry between Spike and Faye. I enjoyed the series' hijacking scene being replayed from the different angles.

I really liked the addition of Jake, but then I always find your OC's are able to blend into the Bebop universe rather seamlessly. There are alot of S/F fanfics out there that seem to create throwaway OC's to simply be used as filler, tools existing only to push Spike and Faye together. I've never found that to be so with your original characters. You're great at fleshing them out and making them a real part of the story.

And now I'm off to re-read Chapter 10! :)

I've always loved your Faye and this chapter perfectly encompasses nearly every facet of her. So I think you did achieve that perfection you were speaking of in your author's notes.

this story is pure genius. honestly, the intricate manner in which it is written is rivaled by few fanfics in this entire site. it is slightly confusing, and i am keeping track of dates on a postit but i am hanging by a thread. the whole idea for the story is amazing and i cannot wait for you to be done writing the next chapter so i can read each sentance one by one and grasp the brilliance with which it all fits together in some cosmic way. the characters are so well written and in character. the storyline is paced perfectly. the content is intrigueing. you have tied all the strings and left no holes to point out (atleast up til this point but i have no doubts the fic will continue in this manner).
i sound a bit crazy but it is all true. know that you are not writing it for only yourself (though that is a VERY important part of fanfic) but you are also writing for many many readers who are just as involved as me in learning more about the connections you have forged between the characters in this alternate bebop universe.
