I really like the 1st person pov you have here. I liked John's lose of time as he went in and out of conciseness.

Great story, I really enjoyed it.

I don't usually like stories with the first person pronoun... I dunno... they never feel 'true' but something drew me in with this one... and I'm glad I stuck in there. Brilliantly written! So John and Rodney. John 'soldiering' on. Rodney's panicked caring. Memorable one-liners. So much detail in a short story with nothing wasted. You really have great ability to have conjured this one up.

This is a tag worthy of its fantastic episode! Your voices are disturbingly good, good enough to make me suspect you may have some people tied up in your cellar that we should know about, and just the right mix of panicky drama and giggles (Kavanaugh in Rodney's panties!!)
