Very funny. There aren't too many goofy Silmarillion stories since they're unusually hard to do in such a serious fandom, but this worked splendidly.

Fantastic! I can definitely picture Cirdan as a sort of dreamy Elven surfer-dude in his younger years. And your Fingon and Turgon, and their conversations and letters... lmao. Absolutely wonderful writing!

You rock my socks. This has the same sort of flavor as a Tehta's "Flawed and Fair", which I absolutely love. This was hysterical. The cracks about the Noldor and their stone and metal were priceless. Awesome stuff, my friend.

I loved this when I read it before, and still love it now. As so often, the story is made by all the absurd little details: the Noldorin custom of building stone/metal structures; Teleri metaphors; that little adorable name of Finrod's; various people's various letter-writing techniques; and so on.

Also, it is oddly satisfying how Fingon can never win at anything. Heh.

ho,ho, how fun!! I loved this poor Fingon, with everything seemingly falling upon his shoulders.. and i'd never thought the havens as the "sex and sun and sea" resort for the Noldor, but it is a great concept, worth exploring! (still weeping tears..)It brightened my morning!
