 Tamira 2009-11-01 . chapter 1Poor Chip!
You know, I always felt it was unfair not only the beast had to suffer this course but also the people who where at the palace, who worked for him. - They did not do anything to deserve it.
Well, I just have to remind myself that pretty soon Chip actually will be able to run. ;) |
LM Simpson 2009-07-30 . chapter 1I've heard of you through fanfic recommendations. I wasn't in the mood for GastonxBelle when I visited your profile, so when I found this, I decided, "Oh, what the heck?" and clicked on it.
That decision was a good one.
I love fanfics that focus on the "less-noticed" characters. They deserve some love as well, after all. The way you described Chip's dreams and flashbacks were so beautiful, so breathing with life. My heart panged for him. I'll be sure to check your other work in the future.
Have a good day!

Cascaper 2008-07-02 . chapter 1Aww. Poor little angsty Chip. *cuddles him against my cheek, since he's too small to hug* He needs more attention in these stories. |
Dragon of Light and Shadow 2008-04-19 . chapter 1how sad.

 SilverInkblot 2007-10-27 . chapter 1That's so Sad!
Something like that must have way tramatic for a little kid. Honestly, I've never really thought about writing for Chip. I just always go "aww, he's so cute!" Nice story writing! |
JasmineRiddleXAngelOfDarkness 2007-08-07 . chapter 1Wow, this was really great. Ive never thought about Chips Point of view before so it was actually a really nice, and different way to see things.
Nice Job! |
yaired 2007-06-07 . chapter 1 Really touching story. Thank you very much, |
Elphaba-smartgirl 2007-03-31 . chapter 1this is sad! I loved it since i was the understudy for chip when they did B&B at the local theater here! |
broadwaygirl257 2006-09-22 . chapter 1Aw, I love this! It is so sweet. No one ever bothers to write something for cutesey Chip! I'm glad you finally wrote something all about him for his POV, like this:
"She longed to cuddle him, to stroke his hair, but she had no arms now. All she could do was try to nestle against him. He tried to take what comfort he could from that, but her body was so cold, so hard and unyielding, so unlike the soft, comforting, pillow-like mama she had been all his life. He fell asleep sobbing against her porcelain form."
I love your description there^
This is a wonderful fic! Keep up the great work!

P.S. No review is complete without a --> PLEASE update "This Idyellic Scene" soon! I'm in total suspense.
And by the way, I was wondering something else about M. Lessieur (I believe I'm turning into his biggest fan, LOL!): How in the heck did he run a bookstore in a village filled with illerate peasants who never buy books to read? (besides Belle of course)But Belle borrows everything! How did the poor man not go belly-up all those years? |
Brini Rose 2006-07-05 . chapter 1"A Peter Pan made of Porcelin..." For some reason, I really like that anology. It alone paints wonderful imagery to a very moving short story. ^.^ |
Kati 2006-05-08 . chapter 1 Very well done on the perspective. |
Melanthios 2006-04-24 . chapter 1This story made me cry. It's not a view you'd think about at first, watching the movie. Beautiful and sad...like a French film. Which is kind of ironic, considering.

DanMat6288 2006-03-14 . chapter 1Say, what if there were a sequel, telling about Chip's point of view during the movie time?
The dream was much more vivid, even closer this time. As he ran across the green grass, he could see the girl with the master--now human--both very happy together.
"Slow down, lad!" That was Cogsworth... the real one, not the clock with the face. His face turned to a smile and he said, "Look how happy he is."
"Oui, mon capitan," said Lumiere to his side. "You see? I told you she would break the spell."
Cogsworth's eyes popped open and he wagged his finger at him. "I beg my pardon, old friend, but I believe I told YOU."
"No you didn't," Lumiere retorted. "I told YOU!"
"You most certainly did NOT, you pompus, pig-headed peabrain!" Cogsworth shot at him.
"Engarde (sp?), you... you overgrown pocket watch!"
And, that's when the dream ended. It took longer to register that it was only a dream. But, he felt different this time.
A strange, bubbling feeling had been building up ever since the girl had brought the master home, injured after recusing her from the wolves. One day, the servents were peering in on the two reading in the library, so he asked his mother what the feeling was, and Mama told him, "It's hope, dear. We've all been feeling it."
Those last lines actually come from a version of BatB, and they are part of the set-up for the start of "Human Again". |
Rebecca 2006-02-16 . chapter 1 Very cool. I was recently cast as Chip in my high school's production of Beauty and the Beast, and this story provides a well-written take on one aspect of Chip's life we, the viewers, have never been able to see. |
Tallulah 2006-02-12 . chapter 1 Hey, that's good! It was moving without being twee, and the points raised are exactly how a boy in such a situation would think. And I'd never thought before of how frightening it must be for the servants, considering the Beast's habit of smashing furniture... |
