Really need longer chapters. I can't get a feel for the story with less than 300 words.

Dialogue is important, but some description or exposition on the characters would provide the reader with a better base in which to grasp the story. Two disembodied voices talking in space is not that compelling, even if they are Preds.

That said, keep writing. With such an intriguing title, I want to read what you have in mind.
