Hopefully she wont be too depressed. After all, I'm sure she's already sadened by the lost opportunity with Sano. Poor Megumi! I do sympathize. Ja ne!

Kenshin's worry over the rings, his concern for Sano, his stammering when Kaoru finds the rings all rang very true to the series both anime and manga. I thought you gave a good sense of everyone so far, they way Sano doesn't want to take the money even tough he really needs tit, his bear hug good byes, Yahiko's almost tears and Kaoru's retreating to her room to really cry. I look forward to more of this story even though it sounds form the summary that it will ultimately get quite sad.

It was a nice touch, the scene where Kenshin gives up his money to Sano, even though it was for his wedding. Keep up the good work and I look forward to more chapters. ^_^

Scented Candles 2005-02-04 ch 1,	abuseOMG! Why won't you update it often? WHY?! cries I think this one is my favorite out of all your writings too! The flow of the story is very fluid and although there is a certein simplicity to it, it still manages to be poignant at the same time. Kaoru dies...i don;t care, i just want to read this story. It's like i'm beginning to be obsessed with it! Hook, lin and sinker, i am truly a fan of yours! ^_^ Great job and i really hope you update soon...(yes i know you won't update often but one can only hope, neh?)
