I loved this story because it is exactly what should have happened. They dismissed Emma straight away on season 3 and it was so unrealistic. Even if Emma and Shal were not lovers on the show they were best friends and she couldn't just forget someone that quickly. Also, I have despised Brennan from episode 1, too much ego!
Anyway, keep on doing Emma/Shal fiction. I loved it!

great story! i wish they would've added more about emma's death afterwards too but it was like she wasn't in the show to begin with. no shock no grief..nothing. after that i haven't watched the show either. and don't worry about brennan, not too many of us like him much.
