A very interesting fiction!

IT is an interesting take on luna, who is usually portrayed as a vibrant character, but the fact that her vivaciousness is all an act is still viable. very beautifully written, it has a certain rhythm to it which resembels poetry.

Oh dear! Poor Luna. She is lonly, but does not even feel enough to feel bad about it. And this boy. Malfoy maybe, probably? In the same situation. Kissing to escape neutrality. Sad but beautiful. I can't say I believe her to be that empty, but who can really say what hides behind those unblinking eyes?

Very nice...because I do see Luna as a detached character to a point and you captured that very, very well. She cares about others more than herself at times, I think. And she can, through her mind and her own independence, be separated from the whole process of living. Well done! I enjoyed this!

A few bits that need correcting for grammar or whatever:

"It was own little play, with no audience."

"Maybe he was in love with someone else, someone she couldn’t have, or maybe he was just incapable of love."

Whoa, it must have been some mood! ;) I get those moods all the time, so I understand. Creepily enough, your Luna characterization reminded me chillingly of myself. A lot of people who don't know me well think I'm crazy, but really I'm just abstract and detached. I'm often quite happy, but the detachedness doesn't ever really go away. I can definitely see Luna being like that due to trauma in her past. *nods* Good characterization.

I still don't know what I think of this ship. I think Luna would go better with Harry, because his passion would provide some balance for her tendency to dwell on the cerebral, but this still works.

Why was her common room red rather than blue?
