Mwee, this is awesome. I like that you were brave enough to actually make Blank blind -- that's gotta be tough to write. It's been over a year since this was updated, so I'm gonna assume you've lost interest (believe me, I know how it feels XD; writer's block sucks), but I'm sure this would've been even greater if you'd kept going. :3

Woo! I love Zidane and Blank! They were my first favorite yaoi couple ever! Please update soon, as this is an interesting story.

There are many things to like about this story, with good writing overall, and Zidane/Blank being my favorite FF9 pairing. But I disagree with your choice to make Blank blind. I think the story would have been fine without this extra element of misery. It is depressing and distracting to me, as I've never thought of Blank as being blind. Early in the game, he participates in various fights (including the staged swordfight with Zidane) and later on, he is the navigator of the airship. Both very unlikely for someone who is blind. His blindness is not entirely convincing in your story either, where he goes pickpocketing with great success (until his victim is another thief), something which would also be quite impossible for someone blind.

I realize that Blank as blind makes for some extra heart-wrenching situations, but there is a point where things just get too miserable.

I suggest you start writing again. Due by the date that it has been updated, it seems that you forgot to update. If it's for the lack of reviews, don't worry about it. I seem to have none, but I still go on about typing. I do hope you update soon. I never read a Zidane/Blank story. Please continue. As you said, you/we have a long way to go.

yay! I love BlankZidane ^_^^_^. It always interests me to see of what people think about how his skin became that way, and why he wears a headband. ^_^. In my fic he's kinda frankenstein-ish and... well, wouldn't want to give that away, would i? lol.
