| Arktos 2008-04-24 ch 11, | abuseThis is an amazing fic. Crossovers by themselves are hard to pull off, but you managed it beautifully, even considering the many differences between the two series. I was very impressed with your writing style, the amount of detail you put into the duels and investiagtion of the crime scene, and your immensely satisfying conclusion. Good job, I'm amazed this didn't get more reviews, actually! I have a few small nitpicks, though they don't detract from the story much. Just the occasional spelling error, and a few small things that didn't make sense. Like the fact they didn't catch the killer on tape (did he erase or hide those? Or did he just carefully avoid the cameras? Both those things would be extremely hard to do), although i think I might have missed something there. Other than those small inconsistencies, I thoroughly enjoyed this fic and thank you very much for writing it :) |
| Hamano Ayumi 2008-03-23 ch 11, | abuseAmazing, simply amazing~ You captured everyone's character perfectly! And the feel of BOTH series is wonderfully portrayed too! I was thinking of a CSI/Yu-Gi-Oh crossover at one point, though I never thought I'd ever see one. Glad I did, because it's positively stunning. |
| The Violent Tomboy 2008-02-26 ch 11, | abuseHate the dub, but this was written very well. Yay for you! All hail CSI! |
| Merkitten 2008-01-01 ch 11, | abuse:D Pure awesomeness. that was really great, slightly predictable, but that's okay, I don't mind. Very well written, and a plausable plot. Conratulations on having written an applaudable piece of fiction. One of the best YGO fics I've read, and one of the more original crossovers. Thanks for the read ;D -Merkitten |
| ShadiStar13 2007-11-18 ch 11, | abuseWOW! I love CSI and Yugioh! and you did a really brilliant job at it! I almost wish they'd make a real Yyugioh and CSI crossover! |
| The Otherworlder 2007-08-14 ch 11, | abuseFirst thing to say is, WOW! Second, this story has been in my C2 for how long? But I just read it completely... Lol I just recently got into CSI. I have to say, the entire story is just beautifully crafted. There is nothing fancy schmancy in there, but there is craftsmanship. The plot weaves tightly, logical and coherent at every point, expected and unexpected at the same time. The language is effortless. And the characterization, now that is simply the high land of this story, the characterization is WONDERFUL. It's no simple task to handle such a large caste and layer their roles and have everyone act perfectly in character. It is simply beautiful. Finally, LOVE the though of Grisson learning duel monsters. Man that's just awesome. I have been pondering out some sort of CSI crossover in my head for a while and you just gave me plenty of inspiration. Thank you for that wonderful read! |
| Jen the Idiot 2007-06-10 ch 11, | abuseWow, I really loved this fic! It really felt like a CSI episode-ish kind of thing, along with the good old YGO feeling with it. |
| Katsuno-Hitomi 2007-05-01 ch 11, | abuseThis fic rocks! Everything I love about CSI and Yu-Gi-Oh! rolled into one! For some reason, I imagine Joey screaming like a little girl when first encounters the deceased in his jacuzzi. ;) |
| Gone Away 2345 2007-04-16 ch 1, | abuseThis story? Pure brilliance. I have never seen a CSI/Yuugiou crossover before. You made everything realistic...all of which makes this story noteworthy. Congrats, you have me clinging like a fish on a hook. |
| Ishi Tatsu 2006-12-31 ch 11, anon. | abuseThat was a fun cross over I like the way you portraied (sp?) Grissom. He was always my favorite carictor on CSI apart from Nick. I'm glad I found your story. Good work |
| Silver Fox Trot 2006-10-11 ch 11, | abuseWow, you are AWESOME! When I first looked at this fic and I saw CSI/YGO I was all, WTH? I thought it was probably some lame crossover fic that was most likely thought up in roughly three seconds, written in minutes, not proof-read, with a ton of spelling errors. Imagine my surprise when I saw THIS little beauty! I just love the way you managed in intigrate the magic of YGO with the science of CSI and keep the characters as they actually are with no overly excessive OOC! My words cannot do it justice, however. I hope that when I write anything in life, it comes out as good as this! I think I'll take a quick peek at your other fics! Keep it up! |
| Iniora Nackatori 2006-09-22 ch 11, | abuse*Bursts out laughing* Yes! Good, good story! I loved it! And then ending there, with Grissom almost seeing Yami... That was lovely! And then him picking up the game and... Oi! Good story! I'm looking forward to reading more of your work. Till next time, this is Iniora Nackatori, signing out! |
| Iniora Nackatori 2006-09-22 ch 7, | abuseHello again. Another quick interlude before moving on: I don't know who to feel sorry for. The "Person" about to get challeneged to a Shadow Game, or Grissom and his CSI team for having to try and figure out what happened to said person. Onwards to the next chapter! |
| Iniora Nackatori 2006-09-22 ch 2, | abuseHi. Just ran into your story, and I must say, you caught me off guard with it being Yu-Gi-Oh! X-Over with CSI. Regardless, this is a good fic, and since it's already done, I will be reading all of it. I just want to take a second to say -- if the Casino manager died from a Shadow Game (which I kinda doubt, but anyway) then Joey is, for lack of a better word, doomed. Onwards to the next chapter! |
| Isis the Sphinx 2006-05-21 ch 11, | abuseO! Grissom's gonna learn how to play DM! YAYAYAY! And with how much he pays attention and how he likes to psyche people out, he has the ability to become as good as Kaiba or, dare I say it? Yugi. This was a good fic, especially for a xover. Keep writing! |
