You got Trip's way of speaking down. =P Easy and interesting to read, especially what you write about going on in their heads. I thought your changing perspectives to first person with both of them was a flavorful touch. Even with how well Trip & T'Pol know each other, I don't think she would admit to having 'strong feelings' for Archer. 'Strong attachment' sounds more her, to me, but then, I'm not you. =) It's a little hard for me to picture her feeling of gratitude of Trip being safe overshadowing the loss of Archer, whom she has such 'strong feelings' for. Yes, this shows just how much she's attached to Trip, but with a loss such as what DID happen, I couldn't imagine having the mind to fear what DIDN'T happen. Maybe after having sufficient time to mourn.. I don't know. Despite my opinion, though, I felt this scene was very real to the show. Thank you for sharing this! I can tell you put great thought into it. *thinks about the ending and sniffles* How sweet ^_^ |
