I liked it. It was a cute non-angsty/drama story. Simply a story of each character's life after Jinchuu (I assume).

Lovely story. I'd much rather have the Kenshingumi's lives go like this than in Sony's version.

I love the triplets driving Yahiko crazy. I can't draw but if I could that scene would make a great fanart.

I don't think it was too dark to add the part about Shinta's past. I think Kenshin's feelings and reflections make perfect sense as he watches his new family. I think it really added depth to this chapter. I wouldn't expect him to feel only happiness. I think all new parents have fears and it would make sense that given his background, his would be more extreme.

I wonder what the survival rate was for triplets in the Meji Era. I would imagine pretty low, but since this is a romance and not an "angst" fiction, I am just going to be happy for them.

oh, I am so happy. This is what should happen, Kenshin and Kaoru get to be so happy. Love it.
