That was entertaining and exactly how Belle should have handled the situation in the movie. Very clever. :)

Truly excellent, but with one flaw: Gaston called the priest (at least, I assume he was a priest, as France was and is a predominantly Roman Catholic country) Padre, which is Spanish. Since they are French, he would have called an RC priest "Père," the French word for father.

*snicker* I did that to my boyfriend once... alas, it did nothing to keep him away...

I really loved it! Great twist to the original scene! You did a great job.

*cracks up* Brilliant! She should have done it exactly like that. Then again...without the mob storming the castle, would Belle ever have admitted her love in time? Hmm...interesting...well, in any case, I love your story. Great job!

Well, I came to this after reading "Picture This," so I can't help being a little disappointed that Monique just went that fast. Then again, you hadn't developed her yet when you wrote this, so...*shrugs* At any rate, that manipulation barrage was fantastic. I was grinning the whole time. ^_^

haha! if it had happened like this there would be no BatB, but its cool to play around with What Ifs every once in a while. LOved IT!
