I loved this, as I loved the first one. I plan on beginning Call to Battle tomorrow, as it's late. I really love how you combined two of my favorite shows, and I love how you brough Tony Vincenzo's relatives in!

This is really a very nice story. I am a big fan of the original Kolchak series (I remember it running opposite of Chico and the Man).

BTW, it's nice to see another guy in the "pushing 50" demographic.

Oh thank god! I loved that! Robin and Faith working out just makes me so happy. Faith has really grown as a character and I'm glad you're writing her that way. I'd really love to deal more with the Summers' relatives though...I don't think the girls would have given up without a fight, not with thier cousins the way they are. But I love this update!

Not sure having 1 watcher per slayer is a good idea anymore --the way I'd do it is put up a team of a watcher, at least 2 slayers and then some support personnel -- with a central area that they can call up/login to for detailed research help... ie teams-- recall that Angel ep where Andrew showed up and he had a dozen slayers with him. So many that Angel didn't even think of trying to fight them to keep Dana -- ie no slayer should have to fight alone anymore --even if there are "only" 40 instead of hundreds, that's at least 10 'teams' that could eventually be out there - with maybe a central reserve available for emergencies ...

If you continue this story, I'd like to see some interaction with Angel's group, they could really use the help especially by the end of the 5h season...

I hope you get more reviews-"Kolchak" was one of my fave shows back in the day... (I've heard a remake is in the works, if so, I hope they make it a continuation, not a complete remake, ie that they don't pretend the first show never happened)...
Giles (Angel season 5) seemed really hostile towards Angel; Andrew's remarks made it clear G. had only contempt for Wesley ( note in your fic, he doesn't mention Wesley as a 'surviving watcher' --even when they're desperately shorthanded, G. doesn't want Wesley around--understandable, he doesn't know how much he's changed)...
I sure hope Giles has a good reason--and that he wasn't representative of Buffy's & Willow's views...
