I've always been a Cloud/Aerith shipper myself, because I couldn't see Cloud/Tifa working either.

Cloud really DOES need someone solid that he can lean on, that can just intuitively understand him. Tifa is too emotionally fragile to be as strong as he needs her to be. She's a strong woman, no doubt, but fragile at the same time. Oddly enough, it's like she and Aerith are total opposites in that way. Aerith is weak, but strong emotionally.

This really does fit into my opinion of Cloud/Tifa. I just can't see it either. I can see Cloud/Aeris, which may be saying something since I'm a slasher, but from what I know of the whole background of Cloud and Tifa (given I haven't actually played the game) the foundations of a relationship between them are very shaky.

Well... I actually like it. I'm pretty loyal Tifa and Cloud shipper, so I was a bit worried on what the fic was about. But you mentioned there was not Tifa bashing, so I read it. I liked it. The plot and story format, talking through the POV of Cloud lent a hand to the overall beauty of the fic. The only problem I have with it is that the lack of indenting with the paragraphs and paragraphs itself makes it slightly hard to read. Other that that, good job!

woah, cool fic-very unique take on their relationship- I mean I think that they each loved each other towards the end, but this was still a great fic-keep up the great work-I wanna see more of this kinda stuff
