msdarque 2009-03-28 . chapter 1Oh wow.. that was hilarious! LOL
Truly enjoyed myself. Congrats! |
 Kadigan 2008-12-20 . chapter 1*Origami.*
You are amazing. |
ferryboat George 2008-07-01 . chapter 1I love your writing style. I love the opening to this. The origami bit was cool, sounds like something I'd do, though I'm not sure I could make stargates and stuff. I did invent a Klingon battle cruiser though. |
SaJi 2008-05-16 . chapter 1I really liked the little insights into Fords character in this one. I don't think I've ever seen anyone pik up in a fik on his...attitude he sometimes has towards the science/civilian population of the expedition. |
LinziDay 2008-03-27 . chapter 1I just found your Geek/Goon series here and on Wraithbait. LOVE it!! It's utterly excellent, and this story was no exception. You do a fantasic job with the McKay/Sheppard relationship... among the best (if not the best) that I've read. And your writing is fabulous. (*Love* this description: At best it was a coordinated stagger)
Really, really excellent! I see most of these were written in 2005 and 2006... I hope you're still doing them. |
Xiilnek 2008-02-10 . chapter 1Love. Ohmigod, Love. The dialogue is fabulous, and some of the phrases... oh. There were quite a few lovely ones, but this one is my favorite:
"Like a bat out of hell would be a good description. A drunken bat. A drunken bat on crack."(Made me laugh so, so much. The best description of driving I've heard! Read.)
I love this, and am glad I read it. Thanks. (added, of course, to my favorites) |
Miravisu 2008-01-04 . chapter 1>“If I didn’t bring you back, Captain Kirk, who would seduce all the space bimbos?”<
I'm loving that banter :D
>“Quite a day,” Zelenka said calmly as he pulled the oxygen mask over my face. “No wonder Rodney is so fond of field work.”<
haha, trust Zelenka to utter something like that!
>“Rodney,” I said patiently, cutting him off without compunction. “I’m all right.” I lifted the sheet and peered beneath it for a second. “And I still have some body hair, so I’m ahead of the game.”<
Teehee, I just love this kind of observational passage :)
*grins and chuckles one last time over the story*
Well written, and funny! |
Gnine 2007-10-24 . chapter 1Oh, so very much loved this fic, enough so that I had to pick out a few of my favorite lines:
"Like don’t give astrophysicists wedgies unless you wanted to spend an entire week ionized and being shocked by every single thing you touch." heheh, revenge of the geeks, hazaah!
"Dinner equals death" *snicker* That sums it up nicely!
"Or more precisely, ‘Oh, cake.’ You can see how that might have thrown me. As warnings go, it’s pretty oblique.”" Oh Sheppard, god I love how you write their snark, ever so fun. Course, you've always had a way with snark, so...
"Ever seen an astrophysicist foam at the mouth? Good times, people. Good times." Heheheh. God, this fic has me continually cracking up! ^_^ Love Sheppard's pov in this, really I do! And the way you write him oh so possessive of *his* geeks is just too cute.
"Aimed at Rodney. Aimed at my geek." Ohh *happy smarm squee*
“I got…cold feet,” I managed to get out."BHAHA--oops, now I'm getting strange looks from the other people in the computer room...but...but it was fuuny. Oh Shep, honey...
Love your take on the boys, whee! |
Obsessed Pam 2007-05-29 . chapter 1Briliant from start to finish. I could quote some of your lines but there are so many, and if I started where would I finish - I'd just be rewriting your whole story practically.
Oh, but this was such an enjoyable read with the tension interspersed with some brilliantly dry moments which had me smiling widely.
The ending was perfect - Rodney at his snarky best. |
Trishkafibble 2007-04-30 . chapter 1Oh, that was the BEST! I laughed all through it, and MAN, that's some tricky writing when you're making a girl laugh while she's sincerely thinking, "Oh, God, please don't die!!" I absolutely love the connection you're establishing between the two of them, too. If this series goes slashy, I think I might actually approve, and that's saying something!! |
Stargate_Junkie 2006-09-08 . chapter 1 "Thou shalt never ** off a geek." LAMO! This was a fantastic story, I really enjoyed it. Thanks! :) |
 sack-religious 2006-02-17 . chapter 1Loved it!
Great characterisation, awesome pacing and real tension (part-way through I had to remind myself that I hadn't seen a "character death" warning at the begining, but I was still worried for a while there, hehe). "The wraith are attacking... quick, to the bake sales!" cracked me right up :D
Geek love! |
Devil Theory 2006-02-16 . chapter 1This is just so much better then i heard it was. I can't believe it, amazing, i can't believe you don't have more reviews! It should become protocol that anyone who wants to write an SGA fic needs to have read this story first! Amazing! |
Silens Unus 2005-09-26 . chapter 1Thou shalt never ** off a geek, the eleventh commandment. The banquet scenario is so true. You are a gift fans everywhere. You seem to capture all of the characters so well. I love your Zelenka, he rocks. |
Silverthreads 2005-09-23 . chapter 1I laughed heartily at the end, but the whole thing was very good. |
