Tumbled onto the Van Helsing page quite by accident(link from another page) and just started wandering about. But I have to say, I read your story and I think I may have to stay awhile..
As several have said before me, extremely fine visual and tactile descriptions, kept me totally ingrossed and when it was over, all I could think was "Da*m! Hope there's more!"
This does seem almost like a prologue to a bigger story...*hint,hint*?

After reading this -your first VH fic- I dearly hope that this is not the last one!
