Hojo's crazy. I like that.

Oi. This was quite good. I've always liked your interpretation of Hojo. He seems so real, and embittered; quite human as well, if you ask me. In fact, it would seem that in this series, the characters with the most complexities truly are the most human. And he appears to be talking to himself; as if he is reliving the moment he shot Vincent. I may have misinterpreted that, but as I was reading it, I just envisioned Vincent lying on a table, unable to speak from all the blood pooling in his lungs, making weak gestures with his arms and his gun just flailing about it useless fingers. And Hojo is pacing back and forth throughout the room, just...taunting him...having a demented little one-sided conversation with him. Hell, everyone else's interpretations of the other characters has them magically reading Vincent's expressions and suddenly *getting* him...so why not Hojo? I'd imagine the two of them have each other summed up quite well.

Ah, this is really cool. Flows really well. Dot dot dots. Vincent must be in there somewhere. :) Anyway, I love your characterization of Hojo. I love to hate that man, but it's so fun reading about him. Thanks for sharing this!

This was...interesting, to put it that way. Unusual too. Not in a negative manner though; it was like picking up an unknown food for the first time, and even after ascertaining that it is good, it is still somewhat "special".

Magnanimous! (I love that word) Darling! This is the sort of thing I've been dying to see from you for SO LONG. The writing itself kept me yearning for more... dastardly bastard you, Hojo.. you speak the harsh truth.. the way you word these makes me honestly think these would be exclamations Hojo-in-game would actually spout out. YOU.ARE.HOJO. ..you once again prove this is so! ^_^

Hojo's voice is dead-on throughout; you've done a fantastic job of presenting his character believably. The one-sided dialogue (does it count as a monologue?) works very well; in fact, it's a great play on Vincent's vocally quiet demeanor and the infamous "...".
