More great story twists! I really like the introduction of Cordy's mother. I'd often wondered what became of Mr. and Mrs. Chase, and if we'd ever see them on either of the shows.

Spike's and Buffy's patrol and subsequent fistfight with its undertone of sexual desire is quite believable, as is Spike's anger at himself for wanting both women.

Also very believable is the hunting game you created for Fred and Spike to play -- imaginative, original, intelligent, and woo-hot!erotic. It combines Fred's understanding of Spike's instinctive needs with her experience as a prey animal in Pylea.

Good as ever. Keep writing.

Great story and really sad. I hope Cordy remembers and Angel and her finally get a chance.Update soon.

man, each chapter just gets better and better. I love the way that you've delved into the characters. You've provided all shades of grey to make the story very engaging. Its not just jealous!Buffy or jealous!Wes, these characters realy stand out on their own. I can just imagine a fic on each one, hahaha.

I've really enjoyed this new story. There are so many really perfect bits--from the Gunn & Spike bonding to the sweet, hot Spike & Fred lovin'. Wes is likeable and clever, delightful dialogue from Lorne and the Buffy & Cordy bits are perfect. The plot twist with V. is inspired--I can hardly wait to see where this takes us.

I'm slowly reading this and enjoying it immensely. Buffy throwing herself at Spike was delightful, and you did a good job keeping her humiliation at a minimum. Spike and Fred are a charming couple. I laughed at their disappearance to gather Fred's purse together. Buffy's "Any girl that skinny has got to have some demon blood flowing in there somewhere" also had me laughing. Angel's disgruntled comments about Italy being a convection oven to her cookie dough was brilliant. I'll try to get in a few more chapters this week - not that it's a chore, I just want to savor them!

I love your Gunn. You've got him down PAT. And I love, love, LOVE your version of Gunn and Spike hunting together.

I love that line.

You've got the Angel/Buffy-style humor down pat.

Poor little Feigenbaum. He must be getting a real education from the two of them.

“Ssh!” Angel hushed her. “I’m trying to speak to her with my mind.”
I can understand were Angel's coming from, but to Buffy, he's got to sound completly bonkers.

"Relax, the chances of it happening are like, next to impossible." She rolled her eyes. "Which, yeah, for us pretty much dooms it to inevitability. Crap."
She's hit the nail on the head.
