My mind is not deep enough to find hidden meanings. So I'm going to guess that because Itachi left the kunai behind, Sasuke could have commit suicide. Please correct me if I am wrong. -_-

This was a very nice read. The way Sasuke made the transition from "afraid of the dark" to "praying for darkness" was very well-characterized, in my opinion. I liked this.

I often come across fics from a while back, and think 'how the hell did i miss this??' This is one of those fics. :) It was very well described, well characterized. However, I believed Itachi could have killed Sasuke without the kunai. A hard enough blow to the temple that he definitely would've been capable of probably would've done fatal damage. A harsh beating could've done it as well. But those wouldn't have been as fast, I suppose.

I love the "He forgot the kunai" line. That's just heart. I dunno why, there's just some kinda depth in there that I can't name or something, something more to that line than what it actually says.
