I just wanted to say that I devoured this wonderful story. I honestly thought that I would hate it when I read the review. I have started many stories where DID/MPD was the main plot and they all ended up being absolutely horrid or so close to a crack fic that I have no idea how they got away with it. I was actually afraid that I would never find one that actually interested me when I found yours and thought "one more chance". I am so glad that I went ahead and read that first chapter. I couldn't stop reading. I was so happy to find one where the author ACTUALLY RESEARCHED!
As rare as I know it is, I actually know two people who have DID. My best friend's stepfather and a really close friend of mine. I started looking into it when I was old enough to actually understand why her stepfather would suddenly start acting weird and that he wasn't playing pretend (when we were in second grade she would just say, "oh that's not Dad, he is someone else now) but, like you mentioned in the story, people seem to not believe it is real. I think that is part of the reason why when I find fanfiction that has it as a plot line, it all seems so... messed up and unreal. Or complete and total crack-tastic crap. lol
Beyond the focus of Harry's personalities, I loved how you were able to give Snape a wonderful role, give him a "softer" side while still keeping him in character. Same with the small amount with saw of Draco. The interaction between Snape and Harry(and all of his personalities) was amazing. LoL Can you tell that Severus Snape is my favorite character? *blush*
I found it astounding that even though there were 12 separate personalities, who were so different from each other, that every one of them were cannon Harry Potter. Even RON was cannon!
*g* I usually go for the AU stories that are highly non-cannon (but I guess the fact that my OTP is Snape/Harry calls for non-cannon/OoC), but with this story, I adored how you kept their personalities *highly inappropriate giggle* and actions so close to what you would find in JK's books.
And I just realized that my grammar and words are a rambling mess and I really should just shut up now. It is late, I am beyond tired and can not think of the words that will express how wonderful this story really was. Now, since I can not go to sleep for another two hours(beginning to REALLY hate the overnight shift at work), I will go see what other gems you have for me to read in your profile.

Wow. I don't remember the last time I read a fanfiction non-stop. Normally I get up half way through and do someting else and come back later. But this one wow. I have read extensively on DID and would like to say that you did a wonderful job on keeping the disorder correct. As a psyc student and an author you have my deepest complements on your story.

I really liked it, it rather gave me the urge to write a MPD story myself. But I think it would end up being a lot like yours and Broken Mind, Fractured Soul. Both of which were fantastic stories. I loved BMFS so much that when I heard SensiblyTainted had got her idea from you I just had to come read this, and now I really want to read more MPD stories! So thank you for indirectly opening my mind to such an interesting vein of fanfictions. Great job! I'm off to read the other ones you have written about on your profile and quite probably at one point your other stories!

An interesting start, I like your different personalities of Harry's. Well doe on those. I found your story through SensiblyTainted who wrote a recommendation for this in the first chapter of Broken Mind, Fractured Soul. Which I just looked back at after finishing all her stories some time ago. Anyways, I like this so far, good job.

You never integrated James!

This was a surprisingly good story. The concept of multiple personalities disorder... or dissociative identity disorder is interesting. The sheer number of personalities was the only problem I had with it as men usually have only 2 or 3, it's women that can have a larger amount.

Very inventive. My favorite excerpt:

“You, boy, are going to die tonight,” Voldemort declared coldly.

“One of us will,” Harry responded with a shrug, keeping his wand pointed at his enemy. “Frankly I have the better record for staying alive.”

Don't forget the pudding!

I really enjoyed reading your story! I just had a quick question... When Snape first goes into Harry's unconscious mind James says in his message to Harry something about being sorry for something he did? James implied that whatever he had done had been pretty horrible, but I don't remember ever finding out what it was that he did... do you think you could clear this up for me?

I know your story has been finished for quite a few months now, but I would really love to know! Thank-yous.

HOLY COW. That was AMAZING! I always thought about Harry's horrible situation and thought that it was a miracle he didn't go insane or become a delinquent.
