 claymade 2005-02-21 . chapter 1Nicely done... A touching and emotional rendition of Wolfwood's life. It was a good idea to have it told by recollections threaded through with the story of his death. Good stuff.
In terms of suggestions: my favorite parts were the ones where you were more "inside Wolfwood's head" if you know what I mean. I liked the parts that were more focused on his thoughts and feelings about different things more than the parts where he does straight-up narration on the events of the show.
Both are necessary, of course, but I think--especially since in this case the audience is already familiar with the events being described--that it would have been even cooler if the ratio of internal-emotion-descriptions vs. external-event-descriptions had tended a little more toward the former. Just my two cents.
Also, the ending was absolutely beautiful, especially the last couple lines. Great job on this! |
