I love a good Tara/Spike story, and this one is fantastic! The slow movement from hesitant acquaintances to lovers (well, a couple, at least) was wonderfully done. My only complaint is that it was a little hard to follow because of the havoc plays with formatting--all of the double spaces or breaks between sections of the story have been removed. This was a wonderful read.

Just read the story, a few years late... Great concept. Spike and Tara do make for an interesting mixed pair. It's a lot fluffy, and it would have helped if there were breaks between scene transitions. But Still, it was a fun read.

Okay, I admit I was a Spuffy shipper for far,far too long.

I stumbled upon this "little" piece of diamond totally incidentally... And now I'm considering changing "religion"

Got to hand it to you, great writing style and an even greater plot-line. Got me hooked, line and sinker :D

Sadly there are not enough fics like this to satisfy my growing hunger for Tara/Spike fanfiction, but this will last me for a couple of days... Okay, hours...

While I almost despise Angel, to the point of just wishing the poofter would just turn into dust, I do enjoy reading fics where they are on a more friend/brother kind of rivalry (if I got wrong it from your fic, then sorry) and this was something even I enjoyed.

Also, being a HUGE Giles fan (pre-6th-7th-season), it was heartwarming for me to see them working semi-together. Add to the mix Angel-era Wesley and I have to say it's a party I want an invite to. Plus I was heartbroken when they killed off Tara. The only semi-normal amongst them and of course she was the one to go... :'( You even made Dawn bearable! That is not an easy feat, I have to tell you!

Anyhow, congrats on the whole thing, and if you were thinking about it, a sequel would be nice :)

OMG love it so much. I love the spike/tara pairing plzplzplz write more spike/tara its extremely rare to find one as good as this. only other story i found to rival this one on it i found was boys and girls. plz write more i love your style of writing and this story.

This is great stuff... You manage to make the Tara/Spike things completely believable and likeable, without disturbing the time course of the series... Nice job, and I have to say... It NEEDS a sequel !
