Miz Hereswith, even though he says he won't break or bite, still would be something to consider before bedding down with the good Captain. I love this mother part of Elisabeth--sad she's no chick in the nest to balance all that yearning to mother. Good that she has Jack. And so, good we have you to enjoy as well. I hope there's more that I've not discovered. Real nice dialogue between them. What kind folk they can be. You have a lovely way of pacing your story, not too many dark blocks of type or fluffy quotations. How charming you write the beloveds.

This was an interesting moment. I really liked the awkwardness, even though I was a little unsure of the time because I didn't realize it was only days after they'd found him at first. Nonetheless, it was enjoyable, as always, with so much skirted underlying emotion. I regret not being able to read it sooner.

I love it when these two are tender with one another. As always, you write them beautifully. As always, you leave the reader wanting more. ;-)

Wow. this is one of my "top" favorite stories. You are one of my favorite authors too. I've always loved this story "A matter of trust" and it's companions. so when you added more, i was overjoyed. If i my seggest that you complete this as a long story, so JE would end up together. please, i love everything about this and your writings...thanks
