epalladino 2/23/05 . chapter 1This series is really, really great. I have just one quibble: in general your spelling and grammar are quite good, but you consistently spell the word 'idea' as 'ideal'.
At first I thought this was a typo on your part, but as far as I can tell, I've not seen the word 'idea' spelled correctly in any of your stories. Since, in general, you write quite well, I can't figure this consistent mistake out.
Several examples from this story:
"...they had no ideal how long they had been unconscious..." (This should be 'no idea'.)
"...let’s just go home…any ideals?" (This should be 'any ideas'.)
"...You see I got an ingenious ideal..." (This should be 'ingenious idea'.)
Minor quibble in an excellent series of stories. I apologize ahead of time if English is not your first language. Beth Palladino |
