Well, the ending of this fanfiction was depressing, but up till that memnet the interaction between Rezo and Zelgadis was actually pretty uplifting. It was nice to see them both in good and interesting roles. Reading this fanfiction was a short-lived delight.

That's good. I think that there isn't enough fics about Zelgadis's past, and everyone sees Rezo as only a bad guy, you know? So it's really nice to read a story about Zelgadis that doesn't end happily, especially one as well written as this one.
