Aura Black Chan 2006-07-25 ch 2,	abuseRed told me about this one, so I thought I'd take a look. This is great! I'd read about Speedy's past drug problem, but you wrote it so well, I could feel the nausia right along with him. His 'admiration' of Star's look's were very (ahem) flavorful? He was the best person to talk to Robin after Terra, and the 'talk' went well, I think. (Uugh, right in the liver) Was the charm he gave Robin your idea, or is it something he really has in the books? I can't wait to read the rest of this, and I loved the first chapter with Maus y' Menos!

I'd like to see the whole of What happened with Double M - you know, where they got their powers, who rescued them, or perhaps what triggers the nightmares. It would be fun to read, I think... Roy has always been one of my favorites and one of the things that annoyed me to no end on the t.v. show was that they never really showed the deep friendship between Robin and Speedy. I loved the way you tied in Roy and Dick's comic book history with Donna Troy and Ollie, along with every Robin's habbit of becoming like Batman. Roy does have a troubled past, and I loved how you tied that in with the animated Teen Titans show. Robin's breakdown was believable, he's not like Batman, but they do share a lot of simialar traits that the League as well as the Titans notice. Loved the part about Nightwing and the history behind the name. Loved the part about Speedy thinking about changing his name to Arsenal. And Roy's little escapade with Cheshire. The only good that came out of that was Lian. Once again, thankyou for a wonderful story. Loved ever part, especially the tie-ins between the comic-verse and the animated series.

librastar 2005-09-06 ch 4,	abusei can safely say that this has got to be the best story in the entire universe..if there was a best story award on fanfiction net, urs would definitely be first prize...u portrayed speedy exactly the way he is..the man behind the mask, not robin's clone n i LOVE IT! if i say more stuff, it might take a 100 pages, so pls write more speedy fics, i LOVE him! only thing is i dun like the idea of him with cheshire though (hu is she?) i like him with terra..but it was fantastic the way he chose loyalty over love, keep up the great work!

I like how you made G.A> care like a father... in the comics he wasn't so forgiving... ANyway I also wanted to say that I checked out your mousic movies. Great. I love Robin's a hero and Back off Slade. Thair great. I love how in eternity you showed Robin's parents dying... THEN YOU SHOWED BRUCE AND DICK FROM THE BATMAN SHOW! Great! I loved that picture! Keep it up!

coldfiredragon 2005-05-16 ch 4,	abuseI know I reviewed chapter two as well but the story is simply amazing. It is the best piece of Teen Titans fiction I have read on this site. I love how you have incorporated so much from the comics into the existing storyline of the cartoon. Roy is an amazingly deep and troubled character and no one who only watches the cartoon show is going to have any idea of just how deep he is. You kept him in character the whole time. I loved how you worked Ollie into the story in chapter 2. He's one of my favorite DC heroes, you did well in his characterization as well. The bits between Robin and Speedy were the most well written parts. The characters have so much and so little in common and you have done a masterful job of portraying those similarities and differences. I liked how you kept the romance to a minimum. I've seen so many good stories get lost in the relationship end of things. The way you ended things with Cheshire was perfect. The roses on the arrow was an incredible touch I have one question. Can I use a quote from chapter two? I want to put it in my author profile. The quote is as follows "Because that’s what heroes do. They don’t just fly in the air and shoot laser out of their eyes. They’re not flaunting endlessly in parades or magazines. Heroes are there to help people. Heroes know how hard life can be, but they accept the obstacles of an everyday life. They try to change the bad into good and give hope when all seems lost. And a hero will always protect the people that he or she loves the most of all." I've been a comic reader since I was old enough to read and this is exactly how I feel about heroes, both fictional and real life. I will definitly give full credit for the quote. I just love it so much. Reading it in the context of the chapter caused my eyes to tear up. Anyway can you let me know one way or another about using it? I won't put it up until I recieve a response. One final note of merit, I'm adding this story to my C2 community. The C2's title is "In the Shadow of the Cape and Cowl" It's an archive that deals with darker Robin, fics that include Robin's life before joining the Titans, and Speedy centered fics. Your story is perfect because it touches on all three and it is finished. You are an amazing writer. Keep up the great work.
coldfiredragon 2005-05-15 ch 2,	abuseThis chapter is brilliant, by far the best chapter of the whole fiction. I like how it switches around to different times in Roy's life. He's such a dark character but not at the same time. I also liked how you had Robin breaking down in front of Roy. They are good friends for a reason. Keep up this caliber of work in your other fiction!
Black Panther's Knight 2005-05-10 ch 4,	abuseAnother good story from you, Rose Eclipse. I first saw this story at the R/S Shrine, where you go by the name Rosefire. Speaking of that particular shrine, I'm a member of it as well, NetherPhoenix in case you don't know. Anyway, I liked this insight into Speedy's life and innermost thoughts. Your take on Speedy makes me wanna pick up a copy of Outsiders right now. Maybe next time I go into a comic book store, I might buy an issue. See you again soon.
