Wow, this story is amazing! Did Dumbledore ever know about the chimera being under the school? And if he did know, did he leave it there for a challenge to someone who found it? Can't wait for the next chapter, update soon! ;)

Chapter 6: Hmm..actually, I'm not sure about this one. All those people are around her, so wouldn't it disrupt the channeling of the Chimera? Make sure that's not a plot error :)
None-the-less, Draco the rescue! I just love it. Pretty good description of the Draco/Chimera encounter.

I'd expect Hermione to simply push Harry aside and do what shes gotta do. She's rather stubborn, and Draco's life could've been at stake while she sat there and tried to explain. It might suit the situation for her to simply grab his hand and tell him the story as they head to kitchen. Waste less time, and still get to explain.
*blink* The kiss was rather unexpected. Of course, we've been waiting..and its half-approved by me :-p But kinda random. Like, having more emotions to build up to it? Plus, shes technically still dating Harry.
I dont feel like this ending left much closure, you know? Like, I'd LOVE to see Draco's reaction to the kiss. Harry's reaction to the breakup, and everyones reaction to a Draco/Hermione relationship.

Still, I enjoyed this story. I like this as a background for a future D/H relationship. Explaining where they've come from, why they even began their awkward little friendship, and so forth. You left yourself an opening..a not so closed ending..so you can always comes back and add another chapter to give the readers a bit of an idea of what followed, or a equal. Though, then you'd need a whole new plot ALL to do with them.
Anyway! This was fun ^_^

Chapter 1: Im enjoying this a great deal!
Wow..you made Krum a complete idiot xD I always thought he might be ;) Cant have skills, looks AND brains, now can you?
Draco's attempt at being civil about the breakup was done very well. It was small enough not to break far away from his character, yet meaningful enough to shine hope on his character :)
[her bottom ear and upper ear] ..I know exactly how your trying to describe it, but it still came out weird :-p It sounds like..she has two sets of ears ;) Know what I mean?
Just a suggestion. ^_^

Chapter 2: Hmm. The lake scene reminded me what a good friend Harry was, and I was very happy you did that. I hate people pushing Draco/Hermione relationships by destroying her friendships. And now hes giving her a necklace. Oh...a love interest perhaps? While i'd much rather see Draco, of course, its a good plot twist! AH-HA! So it IS an interest! O. Nothing spells out fun like competition ;)
[Hermione woke up and got up from her bed. She walked over to the balcony and looked out at the sky. The sun had not even risen yet.] Perhaps it'd be best just to describe it as a restless night that brought her to the balcony? :) Just a thought. Still loving your story!

Chapter 3: Heh. So like Malfoy to refuse to lend her the book. Kinda odd for her to pass out from being cold, as only 10 minutes had passed. But who knows! Maybe the halls/cold have something to do with another twist later on. *anxiously moving on!*

Chapter 5: Hmm. Interesting concept :) Creative.

Ha! I knew they'd end up waking to one of those positions xD I didn't expect it the first night, but I did expect it. Whoot for awkward moments.

So! So far, things are rather interesting :-D
